The Valley of the Sambre torrent is located about 6 km from Campo di Marte and 2 km from the town of Settignano.

Already inhabited at the time of the Etruscans, the area is a small paradise a stone's throw from the city for nature lovers and does not want to go too far to spend a few hours in the peace and beauty of nature.

The excursion starts from Villa Peyron, along the road that connects Fiesole to the Castle of Vincigliata and crosses the valley of the river Sambre, passing next to the abandoned settlement of Cucina and letting us immerse ourselves in an alternation of woods and fields, typical village of the Florentine countryside.
